Please pray that the thoughts I have are eradicated by God’s cleansing! I am ashamed and disgusted with myself.
Please pray for my father who has lymphoma and is in hospital receiving treatment. Please also pray that he comes to know God for himself and also the rest of the family.
Please pray for my sister who is so jealous and filled with hatred towards my Dad’s lady friend, who has given Dad new hope in life!

Dear Child of God, I thank God for the salvation he has brought to your life. We know that our salvation needs to be worked out in our lives day by day in God’s grace. I pray that the Holy Spirit will cleanse and purify your heart that you may walk in the robes of righteousness provided by Jesus. We know that we fight spiritual battles especially in our minds so I pray that you are able to make every thought captive and bring every thought into submission to Christ. I pray that you will put on the full armour of God every day and employ every weapon He has given us. Be bold and courageous against the enemy because he is the accuser of the brethren who loves to bring up our past – well, I remind him today of his future and our victorious Lord Jesus who publicly humiliated him by His death and resurrection. I pray that you can come boldly before the throne of grace to claim your inheritance of new life and power. I lift your whole family to the Lord and place each of them into His hands.
For your Father, I ask the Lord firstly for salvation and secondly for a mighty healing touch upon his body. Cause this body to work as You created it to work. Grant him physical and spiritual healing, Lord, that he may have Your assurances in his life.
For your sister I pray for her salvation too, and that He will take away her heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh so that she will be His daughter and He will be both her Father and her God. I pray that she is convicted by the Holy Spirit and turns to God in repentance of her jealousy. I pray that she will hold out the branch of peace and forgiveness so that reconciliation may begin. Cover this family with Your banner of love, Lord and let Your Name be exalted, Amen.
