My prayer is for the hard times we are enduring & the effect that this has had on people’s health. My prayer is that we all learn to become more enduring & become more reliant on God. May this Christmas be totally focused on God & what He has given us, the most incredible eternal gift ever. Better than anything wrapped in paper. May those who are less fortunate than ourselves be blessed & feel loved & cared for.

Dear Child of God, I stand with you in your prayer for everyone who has been affected by this covid-ridden year. I pray that God will be close to all who need comfort and that the Holy Spirit will surround them with His love and power. I pray for peace in these troubled times, that the Prince of Peace whose coming we herald at Christmas will stretch out His hand and unfurl a blanket of peace over our broken world. That people who lament not having secular celebrations will turn to Jesus who is the reason for the celebrations. Let us echo with the Angels, “joy to the world, the Lord has come . Let earth receive her King”. Lord, let the earth indeed receive the good news of King Jesus. Let voices ring out loud and clear that Jesus is still Lord. Above all circumstances, above all situations, above all sorrow, above all names and He is still in control. We may never understand why our world is so broken but we know the Lord can fix it. Amen
