Drug Addiction

Added 3 years ago

My son Justin who is 43 years old is addicted to methamphetamines. He is current on parole for drug offenses. He was sexually abused when 5 years of age by a neighbour’s 11 year old son. He has had addiction problems his whole life. He had a beautiful wife, successful business then became an alcoholic and then he found drugs. I pray for him every day but there is no breakthrough. He agreed to go to Church with me last Sunday but he did not come forward for prayer and immediately later that day, he took more drugs.
I have sold my house and am moving interstate to be with my other son, daughter in law and grandson as I have retired and I fear dreadfully that Justin will be homeless as he is not making any efforts to reach out to organizations for help. I have even prayed that he get sent back to jail as he has constantly breached his parole and at least he will be safe. Why has God not given me a miracle? Every day I am on my knees pleading the blood of Jesus but no answer to my prayers.

Do not give up hope. I understand what you are going through my daughter is a drug addict and has a young son. I will keep you and your son in prayer.

God bless.

Firstly I would like you to know I understand your fear.
I have been in similar place with my son’s

But God sees the bigger picture. He is in control if we trust and continue in prayer.

We must put our total faith in God. Be at peace. Choose His Peace now

Dear Lord I thank you that you are our mighty healer. You have healed Justin so Lord please show him ways he can see your mighty hand at work. Peace for Mother and that she speak to this mountain with authority then place her burden at the foot of the cross and leave it there.
I have been there with my son as well and God has saved him. It’s not easy to trust but only Jesus can solve this.
Amen

Lord Jesus we petition you for Justin’s freedom from addiction. Nothing is impossible for you God, I ask by Your Holy Spirit you work on softening his heart to be able to accept You and Your healing in his life. Lord God YOU are the only place we find true freedom. I ask You to remove the bandaid and temporary relief that drugs bring to Justin and heal his inner most being and bring him into your heavenly family. God bless you for reaching out for your son. Stay strong and trust in God. His timing is perfect.
