Last summer I had pneumonia and the bills along with inflation, higher everything I have not been able to pay all the bills and paniced and stopped paying a tenth to the Lord. Must less any offerings above it. I’m convicted but. dont know what to do. Pray for wisdom, guidance and courage to do the right thing and put God first.

C, A word of encouragement to you. God never expects us to give that which we don’t have. He knows you were sick. He totally gets it. He is, after all, the God of grace, mercy and love. So I would counsel you not to be too legalistic about tithing. Whilst giving a tenth to God’s work is a great principal and an excellent thing to do, it’s not a “legal” requirement.
