The Lord has give me the tools and strategy to to be a blessing to many people, and for the work of His Kingdom. However, I have MS which saps my energy levels leaving me with just about 3 to 4 useful hours per day.
Please pray that I would be miraculously healed of all traced of MS and that my nervous system and energy levels would be fully restored. Bless you for praying.

As I had told someone else on this prayer page, I too was diagnosed with MS in 2004. It was only 8 months after I got married! My husband and I had many plans, but the MS changed all of this in a big way. As the years have passed, the MS has progressively got worse and I am now in a wheelchair for about 95% of the time.
I couldn’t understand how to deal with the disease or the changes that it brought.
I prayed to God for healing for many years, but the MS didn’t get any better…if anything, it only got worse! My ability to make peace with the illness was only when I truly learned to hand it over to God. I didn’t need my full capacity, because I accepted the message that He gave to Saint Paul, “My grace is sufficient for my strength is perfected in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:10).
It was then and only then, that I too could say with Paul, “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:11).
Sure, I have my days, but God has blessed with me with so much. In my state, I have seen a more beautiful side of the world; in the people (including strangers) whose lives have been touched by my own.
So, I pray that you too can find this peace, strength, and rest knowing that a special crown awaits those who carry the cross of disability, and do this happily!!! You are in my prayers.
