Please pray that God will forgive me for my sin. I have been adulterous for so many years, and now I am afraid that God will punish me for all my transgressions. Please pray for my protection now as I am afraid that people will do me harm as a consequence of my sin

I recently learned that asking for forgiveness is a three-fold endeavor. One is you have to mean you are sorry. Two is that acknowledge that it is your fault. And three is to work out a plan to avoid repeating the mistake. The good news is that Jesus died for our sins. And we are forgiven not because we did something to earn it. It is a free gift. But you have to ACCEPT this free gift of Jesus Christ. How? By acknowledging to Him that you are a sinner. Then accepting Jesus Christ in your heart as your Lord and Savior. If you haven’t already, I believe there is a prayer for this found on this website. Once you accept Him, the Holy Spirit will help you have peace in your heart. You will become a changed person and slowly give up sinning. B. it is such a wonderful experience to be in Christ. I highly recommend it in the strongest terms. Having a relationship with Papa (Father) is so amazing it will change your life forever and for the best. Remember, God knows you best, and loves you most. Forgiveness is always given to those who seek it from Him. No exceptions. Finally, I pray that whatever comes your way, in Christ, you will overcome.
