I work as a Community Worker at Visionwest Community Housing, Christchurch, New Zealand. Our agency provides Long-term and Emergency Housing for the homeless.
We have 18 long term houses for the homeless in Beachgrove, Kaiapoi. I’ve also linked in the local church Riverside. This church has provided food packs and financial support. The goal is to link the church into the Beachgrove community to win it for Jesus!
Please pray for:
– the leaders of the existing 4 groups will be functional & powerful
– 6 more groups to be formed that are active
– wisdom as I work with Brent Cairns from the North Canterbury Neighbourhood Support in establishing these groups.
– the Riverside church forms effective relationships with all 10 groups
– Jesus is glorified through this project

WOW! What incredible work you are doing for Jesus!!!!
Father God, we pray that the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit falls afresh on the leaders of these 4 groups and the 6 more; that You use their services to deeply transform, greatly impact and win lives for Jesus.
We totally trust you LORD, to give Your child wisdom, as he works with Brent. May the Riverside church form divine and Kingdom relationships with these groups, that Your Son Jesus Christ would be gloried on earth and forever in heaven.

THERE ARE ALOT OF BROKEN FAMILIES OUT THERE. FIRSTLY, GOOD WORK MATE. KEEP UP THE HOLY WORK SON, AND I PRAY FOR BRENT CAIRNS SO THAT HE WILL BE BORN AGAIN. NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.

I just thank Jesus for the people like you and everyone involved in this precious organization . You are that Light 💡 in a dark place. I just pray to Jesus that He gives you the strength and faith to keep doing that good work in these difficult times we have been forced into . Amen 🙏
