My youngest daughter has an autoimmune disease that the doctors are having trouble getting under control. She suffers daily in pain and her quality of life is poor. She is in her early 20’s and is very discouraged with her lifestyle. There is no cure for autoimmune diseases, but please pray for the doctors to be able to get her into remission so that her quality of life improves and her pain is alleviated. Thank you.

Dear Child of God, I stand with you in your prayers for your daughter. I thank God for the prayers of parents and I thank God for you. Lord, thank You for J who is standing in Your holy presence and bringing to You the deepest burden and desires – that of healing for J’s daughter. Lord, we often see situations that make us cry out to You and this young lady in her 20’s struggling every day in pain with medically no cure brings us to Your merciful feet. Lord, we know that You created her in her mother’s womb and You know every detail about her body so we cry out for Your healing touch to mend that’ which is not working properly within her. What is impossible with men is possible with You. We read in Your Word that even death itself cannot overcome You. Lord, will You bring Your healing to her. I pray that the Holy Spirit will cleanse her whole body and anoint it with Your peace and refreshment. Lord, may she be aware of Your presence all around her and sense within herself that something new is happening to her. Lord, You are the same yesterday, today and forever and we have full assurance of our Jehovah Raphe – the God who heals – that You can and You will. Bless J and J’s daughter and strengthen them both as they leave all their burdens with You. Fill her with the anticipation of Your plan for her life and may they both bring honour and glory to You. May the medical staff witness a miracle that can only have come from Your benevolent mercy and grace. Amen.

God, I pray that Your loving, healing hand be upon your daughter. Bring her comfort and strength in her time of pain and give her rest in the knowledge that You are in control. Father, I also pray for Your powerful presence in the midst of the medical team working with her, guiding them to get her pain-free and in remission. God, be with her mother and let all praise be to You, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
