Pray for Medical Wisdom and Healing

Hi,
My mum is 85 and she has MPN which is a type of blood cancer. It is not an aggressive cancer and she is stable at the moment. She has osteoarthritis and it has been recommended that she have a knee replacement. However she, and I, are very worried about that as I think there are a greater risk of complications because of the MPN. I am also worried that she doesn’t have the strength to recover, and that the stress the operation puts on her body could cause her cancer to progress much more quickly.

Please would you pray for wisdom about whether or not to have the operation for my mum, her doctors and us her family? And please would you pray for her healing. It would be wonderful if her knee could be healed so that she wouldn’t even need the operation. Please would you also pray for healing for her cancer. And whether or not God heals these things, please would you pray that the remaining years of her life would be as free from suffering as possible. Thank you xxx

Your word says in James that if we need wisdom then we just only ask and that you would give us your Godly wisdom. That M’s Mother’s medical team will be guided by you on having her knee surgery. I also pray for M and her mother’s cancer. I pray that your will be done in this. If it’s healing then I ask for that but if it’s not then I ask for strength and courage for her mother. Lord thank you that one day we will live on an earth where there will be no more diseases or pain.
