Help with Fear
Added 2 weeks ago
I’m having serious eye surgery on the 4th of December. I’m very scared even though I have prayed nonstop for this. I have asked God to heal my eye without surgery, but after praying, I feel no peace.
I’m seeing another surgeon on the 19th of November. I don’t know which surgeon is the right one as the surgeon due to operate on the 4th of December was picked by the doctor who made a mistake through carelessness and they are friends. Why does God remain silent when we pray?

Praying that yesterday’s consultation with the 2nd surgeon will have provided you with confidence and direction, as to which surgeon has the most experience in carrying out this particular operation.
If you are still unsure, would offer what I heard a couple of days ago – Rick Warren suggested we can pray Job 34:32 when we are confronted with a difficult situation, and we seek wisdom because we are not sure how to respond for the best.
Job 34:32 – Teach me what I cannot see
(or Message Bible- Teach me to see what I still don’t see )
As you seek God’s will in this, am praying that the Lord provides a lamp to your pathway as you move forward into blessed healing and restoration of your sight. God bless you.
