Hello, I’ve been a Christian for 20 years. I lost both my parents just before and during Covid, which has caused me to steadily drift away from God over the past 2-3 years. I don’t blame God at all, but I have blamed myself for not having enough faith during that time to be able to pray earnestly enough. I need to reconnect with the Lord, and I need to relearn what it means to be a Christian, as I feel I have an unrealistic view of what it means. Thanks.

You have been through so much grief over the past few years, so be kind to yourself. Jesus will never leave or abandon you; he is there and is waiting for you. Through your trials I believe your faith will become much stronger and deeper than before. I have found the book of John deeply personal and comforting as well as the Psalms.

Your prayer request will then be vetted by one of our team, usually within 24 hrs. Remember it will be seen by others (albeit anonymously) so keep the language and content appropriate.
Once approved, your prayer request will appear on the site. People will indicate that they’ve prayed for you by clicking the prayer icon on your prayer request. They can leave comments (which you can later view) by clicking on the comment icon. The counters will tell you how many people have prayed for you or left words of encouragement.
And for each prayer request that you leave, please pray for at least 3 other people and leave at least one word of encouragement.
The only sort of prayer the Bible teaches about is the sort that has powerful results!
