I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I know Jesus died for me and that my sins are forgiven. But I feel so shameful and guilty about my past sins. Sometimes it’s so overwhelming. Please pray that God will take away the guilt and the shame. Also I know that the Holy Spirit is in me but I feel so distant from God. Please pray that God will help me to not listen to the enemy and trust His word. Thank you.

Dear Child of God, I stand with you in your prayers. Lord Jesus, thank You for I. Thank You for the amazing party that took place in heaven when I chose to follow You. I join in with the party and I am thrilled with I’s decision. I also thank You that You have revealed to I that the lies of the enemy are trying to get I to focus on the past sin and guilt instead of the salvation and mighty future that I has as a redeemed child of God. We know that the enemy is the father of lies and will try to distract us by any means possible. I pray that I will stand firm on Your promises and put on the full armour of God every day. We take a stand against the enemy and his lies and say back off. The Lord Jesus is Lord over I’s life and I is now a new creation in Him. The old has gone and the new is here. I pray that Your Holy Spirit within I will strengthen and fan I’s faith into a mighty and fearsome flame of worship that cuts down and through all the lies and sets a deep path of truth in I’s life. Thank You that we read in Your Word that there is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ, those who are called for His purpose. I pray that I will be blinkered in regard to the lies of the enemy. May I look to the future in Christ and lean into His will. I pray that as I seeks God’s Kingdom above all else and lives righteously He will add everything that I needs. May I live in God’s victory. Praise be to God who has given us the victory in Christ Jesus. Be glorified and honoured in I’s life. Amen.
