Prayer for Teen Daughter

We have 4 children, the eldest a boy, 18 and at bible college, the second a girl 16, compliant and sensitive, the 3rd is a girl 14 and the youngest a boy 13.

Our third has always been full on and a challenge, rules are made to be broken/super strong will kind. She hates our rules, and consumes our time trying to negotiate rules, will sneak onto computers, phones etc and create social media accounts without our approval.

Long story short she wants to live by her rules and will disrespect whoever is in the way of her achieving so. We would appreciate any prayer in us (my husband and I) to gain wisdom on how to deal with her. And of course, prayer for her heart to soften toward God and us. At the moment she thinks we are against her in every way (would help if she could go a day without being disrespectful or breaking the rules) and considers herself the victim. She is loved, talented and blessed in many ways but can’t seem to see that! My husband is a youth counsellor so is experienced.

Dear Lord, lifting up your child to you asking that you place friends in her life that can help change her heart. Parenting is such a challenge as you know, give mom and dad the wisdom and patience they need to help see through some of this rebellion.

I pray that the LORD will change her and softens her heart and that she will start seeing GOD’S hand in her life.

You must never stop praying for her. The LORD will change her and you will see the change in her when he works in her life. I also had a daughter like that and the LORD has changed her so much that she is such a blessing to everyone.

I will keep you in my prayers and I will ask GOD to work in her life.

I am praying for the hand of God to touch your daughter’s heart, remove the stoney heart and replaced it with a holy heart.
