I ask for a prayer of protection from our Father as I will be attending an inquest of a client who was killed by an oncoming bus when we were returning from a mens mental health therapy group. I was with the client at the time and we were 5 minutes away from their home. We were on a narrow footpath and I must give evidence at the 2 day inquest hearing on 11th and 12th June.
I ask for a prayer of protection and safe passage. I have prayed to our father every day for forgiveness and protection throughout the process.

Loving Heavenly Father,
Please surround L with the blessed assurance that they are forgiven and there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ., this was an unavoidable tragic accident. So Lord please fill L with your peace and the confidence in knowing You will be right beside them through every single step in this coming 2 day inquest. May Your Holy Spirit empower L with wisdom and clarity to each question asked and may it end with a positive outcome. Including a positive outcome for the driver of the bus, may they too find forgiveness and peace. Comfort those of the families of the deceased client and may they accept the outcome of the inquest and look to you rather than look to blame, may they choose to forgive, move forward and put this tragic incident behind them. In Jesus Name Amen.
