Pray God Will Revisit Me

I never thought I’d be homeless or have such a black hole experience in my life. I knew years ago my mental health would be tested, but not by Christians and family, that’s for sure. I think today that ministries are putting far too much pressure on giving money. I usually give at least a quarter of my money to something every week, but recently, I’ve stopped enjoying life because of worry and insecurity.

At work one night recently, I listened to Rich Mullins songs. Through the songs, I started realising salvation and Christianity have definitely got more complicated and wearying than ever. There’s a spirit of money that people often don’t realise. My life has started to get worse in church and at home recently. I want to honour God and also check my heart for sin as I’ve struggled with frustration and anger. I am not perfect. Please pray that God will revisit me first but also touch others in what seems to be a mad money rush to survive. I’m more worried than I ever have been.

Dear R, I pray that the Holy Spirit and Lord Jesus Christ with the holy Trinity come into your soul to reassure you. May you know that even in hard times, you’ve got this, it sounds like you have so much faith. I agree that the world is completely devoured by the insatiable desire of money. You are so humble, and with you, the few stand out that seem to be consumed by money. I pray that God will touch a soul in the way that he touches you in your perspective. I pray in Jesus’ name amen.

Lord Jesus I pray that you the prince of peace will calm R’s mind and spirit. Your word says that we can ask you for wisdom and that you will give it in abundance. I pray that you will give R wisdom in giving financially to the church. Help R to be a wise steward of R’s finances. That R will give out of love and not out of obligation. I pray for peace in the home too. I thank you in advance for answered prayer in Jesus’s name, amen.
