I asked for prayer a week or two ago for healing for my brain injury and also that I would find a girlfriend.
I struggle with knowing how much we should persist in our prayers or just trust in God and leave it to Him.
God has already healed my brain injury from a motor vehicle accident a lot but I still get confused and forget things.
I would love to meet a girlfriend. Maybe I need patience like in the parable of the persistent widow.
God has already given me so much. He continues to give me so much, so I feel a bit uncomfortable asking Him for more things. Or maybe I should just be totally honest? I appreciate your prayers for my life.

Dear Child of God, I stand with you in your prayers and I thank God for you and the healing that He has done in your life. Thank You, Lord, for Your healing for R. Thank You that You have a wonderful plan for R. Thank You that he is standing on Your Word and listening to You. We read in Your Word about persistence in prayer and know that You love us so much that You are always waiting for us to draw near to You in worship and prayer. Thank You that You care for every aspect of our lives. Thank You that every hair on our head is numbered. I lift R to You and ask that You will bring clarity of thought to his mind. Thank You for healing him, will You now minister healing to the symptoms of that accident, any residual trauma and memory strength that has been lost will You now return to him. I also lay before You his desire for a girlfriend. Lord, thank You that You saw that it was not good for man to be alone and You, in Your love, created Eve to stand by Adam, to support, love and help him in Your work. Lord, I pray that You will bring R a woman after Your own heart who will follow Your ways with integrity and truth. A woman who will stand by him and support him in his walk with You and encourage him to follow Your ways. I thank You that we read in Your Word that You have already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ. The blessings of God for our lives have already been ordered. Lord, reveal Your blessings to R and may You inhabit his praise drawing him ever deeper into You that his life will indeed be hidden in Christ. Thank You that You are his firm foundation, a very present help in times of trouble.
As R seeks first Your kingdom and Your righteousness in his life may he see all of Your blessings be added to him. Be glorified in his life. Amen.

Praying that His will be done regarding connecting you with a strong spiritual person to share life with.
Stay encouraged and know that our God loves you and cares for you always. May you feel the love and peace of our Lord Jesus in your life. Seek after Him and He will guide you and please know that He has a wonderful plan for you.

Our God is the Good Father. Earthly fathers know how to give good things to their children when they ask, more so with our Heavenly Father. Our Father is able to give us more than we could ask or imagine and He does so ungrudgingly. We should boldy approach Him with our requests and accept His answer to our prayer, even when it’s not what we expected
