Praise God, for He has helped my husband, who has been in the hospital since Monday with a severe staph infection. It is getting better, and he will be home today. I thank God, he has not had a beer, and I pray that this will continue at home – that drinking will be part of his past. I also pray that God will take his smoking addiction and make that part of his past, too. May the cigarettes make him feel sick every time, so he gives up.
Father, I know you are stronger than any addiction. Stronger than any substance or craving. Please, Lord, touch his soul, his heart, so he, too, may receive your everlasting love and peace in his life. I will never give up praying for H. Thank you, Father God, for never giving up on us even when we do. I love and praise your mighty name, amen
