I have only given my life to the Lord since 2007. My children weren’t brought up to know and understand our Heavenly Father, nor were my siblings. My children, now in their 30’s and they don’t even want me to talk to them about Jesus. If I try, my daughter especially, stops me and tells me she’s not interested. My son, is a little more open. He allows me to send him Fresh devotionals sometimes. He believes in something, but has not given his life to Jesus.
My siblings just don’t want to know about God. My sister’s husband admitted to praying secretly to ‘whoever’s out there’ when I spoke quietly to him. Please pray for my family to open their hearts, and ears to hear, and eyes to see our living Christ.

Dear Child of God, I pray the Lord will work through you to bring your family to salvation. I thank God that Your family have you praying for them. Lord, let C be a wonderful testimony of Your love, grace and mercy. I thank You that C has been able to sow the seeds of the Gospel in her family and pray that C will now step back and allow the Holy Spirit to let those seeds grow. I pray that C will not be discouraged but faithfully pray, believing that You will make a way for salvation for the family. You are the light in the darkness, Lord, shine Your light out of C and let that light overcome the darkness. Illumine their lives to see You. Open the eyes of their heart that they might see You high and lifted up. Be their salvation. Until that day I pray that You will keep Your hand upon their heads, guiding them to You and strengthen C to do battle for their souls in prayer. Bless C with Your abundant love and grant C the desires of C’s heart for the family. Amen.

Often the closer they are to us, the less influence we can have over them. Can I suggest that for each one, you pray that God will bring someone else across their path, who can speak Christ into their lives. Some friends of mine prayed 18 years for that to happen to me … and God answered their prayers. Berni@CW
