Can you please pray for my brother ‘R’? He lost his twin brother in a motorcycle accident almost 31 years ago. They were only 23, and Roy was just married. He was in so much pain that his marriage broke up soon after, and his life went into a downward spiral. He developed an alcohol addiction. He has ostracised everyone close to him, and most of our family don’t speak to him as he has caused a lot of pain over the years.
We were brought up in a Christian family, and my mum and dad never gave up on him. I have been praying for him, and my relationship with him has improved greatly. He believes in God and says he knows he’s going to heaven, but he hasn’t been to church in years. I think he’s afraid of breaking down, and he feels so much shame. He says he knows that if he stopped drinking, his life would be better. Please pray that the Lord will break all addiction and restore the years he has lost. I have told him God has sustained him and has a plan for his life.
