New work start

Added 4 weeks ago

I’m in a new job as debt centre manager for CAP. I’m feeling sometimes overwhelmed as my family/ husband demands and it is a lot of new stuff to take in. Some days are better than others but I worry often when starting something new and have the tendency of ‘perfectionism’ (own strive) and completely beat myself up. Then I suddenly think, that I might be ill as I look tense and worn out and stressed. Crippled sometimes with unexplained worry. Pray for inner peace and strength and focus please. Many thanks 🙏

Our father in heaven. Thank you can come to your throne. Thank you Lord God that where you lead you equip & provide. Thank you Lord that mindful of the devil schemes to separate your children from you through every means, including overwhelm, doubt, distractions & worry. But thank you Lord God you are our shepherd. Thank you Lord God that in work do all as doing unto you Lord to protect weak, oppressed and to not be deceived by the enemy like in scripture the king chose the advice of this friends to over the elders advice choosing to heavily unreasonably tax & treat people badly, rather than choosing the advice of the elders to treat people kindly and ask what they want. Lord God your word says when married have more responsibilities, thank you Lord that love is the greatest of all. Bless your Holy name Lord God. In Jesus name amen.

Suggest looking at Psalm 34 when David wrote of when he was experiencing huge personal pressure and worry about his future- and he says defiantly –
‘Come you children listen to me…. Seek peace and pursue it…When the righteous cry for help the Lord hears and rescues them from all their distress… The Lord is near to the heartbroken and He saves those who are crushed in spirit… the Lord rescues him from them all.’
(PS. In new jobs I found it helpful to drink only tea and stop all the coffee, use relaxation cd at night so I got a better quality sleep, and delegated more household tasks to give me a break and the family good practical life experience) Every little helps.
May the Lord shine His face upon you F, and give you His Peace. God bless you.

Thank you very much for praying for me.

This week has been going well with regards to work attitude and time to “let go”. – I had a bad accident on Saturday with thankfully no bodily harm. My car has been written and it wasn’t my fault. I saw it as a sign from God to “slow down” (stop striving) as I was agitating about something.
