I’ve been living on my own raising my beautiful 9 year old daughter and still haven’t found a husband. The loneliness/heaviness and struggle of doing this for so long (10 years) is starting to overwhelm me. I just don’t know how to find Mr Right despite so much counselling and prayer. I don’t know why God is making me wait so long. People keep saying to me that they can’t understand why I’m single. It’s just so hard to meet a genuine caring Christian man. Your prayers would be much appreciated as I’ve never married and so much want to be with Mr Right 🙏

I agree with W’s prayer for you dear sister. I also was a single mum for what seemed like many years yet as I put Jesus as the centre of my life and fell more in love with Him as my Lord and Saviour, Protector, Provider Father and Carer to my beautiful fatherless son, that one day in a perfect location at a perfectly God appointed time
my husband and I finally met. We both knew that it was in God’s time for both of us and yet our long wait was a blessed one and not an anxious one as we had both decided to put Jesus as our first focus and gave our anxiety of finding one another to God.
So Loving Heavenly Father,
I pray and believe this also will happen to dear sister K and that You are preparing her heart as well as her future husband’s heart right now until they meet in Your perfect time. May they draw closer to You in reading Your Word at the beginning of each day and the blessing of good Christian friends to encourage them and may they both turn their eyes upon You Jesus each day, patiently, living one day at a time. In Jesus Name I pray Amen.

Dear Sister 👭God cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 let Jesus take the wheel. He loves you and wants you to love him back. Make him the centre of your focus. Let go of the matter and enjoy your single life. Go out and connect in Christian group activities. God will bring the man that he has set aside for you in his time. He says we should abide in his love.
