I constantly pray for stronger personal relationship with God! I have MS and starting to experience more cognitive issues that’s impacting memory and focus!
My husband John had spine surgery in 2018, and is not a paraplegic, but has given up on life and I believe I’ve become an enabler and he won’t even try! It’s taking such a toll on me, our marriage and finances. He was raised in church and knows God but now doesn’t seem to have any interest in God or anything else. He’s living like a hermit! I spend time with God Everyday in some form and will continue! I just don’t know how much more I can take living under these circumstances, I’m missing life because I’m trying to be a good supportive wife. with God’s strength because It’s so hard! I’ve been his caregiver for almost 4 years, along with dealing with my own health issues and now feeling the impact more than ever!

I feel much compassion for you and your situation and I am praying for you that God will be your strength in both you and your husband’s lives in times when you feel weak and you can’t go on remember that Jesus comforts by saying “Come unto me all Ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly at heart and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” Math 11:30.
I also suggest reading God’s Word daily each morning and pray for direction in seeking help from members of your church and wise Christian Councelling. I believe your husband will come back to his first love in Jesus. The Lord will not let him go.

I pray that as you seek God he will by grace inhabit all areas of your life, releasing power and strength. Also your husband will be stirred to do the same. you will have a life and a future in Jesus name.

This is so tough. Praying for you, for strength, healing of your husband emotionally and your physical healing. Do you have church community locally you can lean into who can give you a hand with practical every day things to lift your burden?

I am praying for you. I too have ms. Try to find calm as stress isnt good for ms. Create a home of relaxation, a home that welcomes the Holy Ghost. I pray that your husband will find hope and that you both can move closer to God and each other.
