Having just lost my wife 2 days before our 50th anniversary. I can’t get my mind where it should be. I hardly remember to speak to God often enough. Please pray for me!

To submit a prayer request … click on the orange button, fill in the fields and submit. Your personal details will remain confidential and will never be displayed or shared.

Hello D,
I am very sorry for your loss and it truly must be a difficult time for you right now. I am praying the Lord will give you strength with each day and that by His spirit, He will renew your mind, comfort you and replace sorrow with thoughts of the beautiful memories you built together, the joy she brought to your life, and to cherish the love the two of you shared. Even though it is hard right now, tell Him everything that you are going through and thank Him for the time He gave the two of you together and remember that while we are here on earth for a little while we await our true eternal joy in heaven!

Dave, I so feel for you. It’s a tough time for you so we’re praying that the Lord will holds you close. He completely understands your grief and He is right there with you. Might I suggest that you just try to spend 5 minutes a day with Him. Pour out your heart to Him. He will bless that time. And speaking of time, just take it a day at a time. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. You will heal. Just one step after the next. We will be praying for you. Berni@CW
