Disconnected

Added 4 weeks ago

Feeling alone and unappreciated in the relationship. I’m been at home lately. Finding it difficult to trust and connect with people.
I do enjoy church and fellowship there and other church activities, but I find life outside of church alone and sad at times.
I had strong friendships when I was younger but unfortunately had to end some of those close friendships for good reasons, and although I don’t regret ending the bad relationships, I have come to have less faith in friendship and protect myself instead. I still feel hurt from the past, even though it was so long ago.

Our Father in heaven, I pray and ask you that you will connect P with you in a much deeper and much more intimate fellowship. I ask that you will show P how to trust and connect with people , with discernment, in a way that brings joy, comfort and encouragement to each party.
I also ask that P will know your constant presence and greatly rejoice in knowing people who are in love with who you are and who seek you first and live fruitful lives that bring honour and glory to your name. In Jesus name I ask these things, Amen.

God I pray for P, that you heal the old wounds from past bad relationships that has built up distrust in their heart. God I thank you, that even in this situation, you never leave P and that you stay close to the broken hearted and the weary. God, please give P comfort and let Your presence be known to them – that they don’t feel so alone. God I thank you that as the doors close on past relationships, you will open new doors for P in their life, to make new and better friends, friends who they can trust and who will build them up and add to their life, not take away from it. God I pray you guide P in this, giving them trust but also the gift of discernment, so that they invite good people into their life. God I pray that you enrich the relationships they have with their friends at church, and let it extend into their everyday life, and not be limited to Sundays. God we thank you that in our loneliest times – you are made known to us, that you stay so close to us, and our faith and trust in You is built, and that our relationship with you only gets stronger. God please protect P during this time, encourage them and give them hope. We thank you God that even when we’re alone, we’re not alone, because we have you God Father, and you have amazing plans for our future. In Jesus almighty name we pray, Amen.
