Help our grandchildren
Added 3 years ago
Our 12 year old grand-daughter has announced she is bi-sexual. She is bright and I do think she understands what that means. I am trying to be open and listen to her while sharing some readings about how God values His creation.
Her brother is 15 and has ADHD and this pandemic has thrown him for a loop. His school saw that he was researching suicide on his school computer so he was in a special in-person school for 6 weeks, but now is back on -line learning and it does not look good for this school year. He is also very bright, but he is not doing well in his classes because of the ADHD. Pray for them and for their parents.

Dear Child of God, I thank God that your heart for your family beats strongly and you are surely a blessing to them. I lift your granddaughter to the Lord and pray that He will extend His love to her in a wonderful way. Thank You, Lord that you do not have labels for your creation. That each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made and that You have amazing plans for us. I pray that she will seek You in her youth and be able to commit her life into Your care. Let this child know nothing but love and acceptance from everyone she meets and let her creativity abound. Let her study Your amazing Word and see for herself how precious her life is to You. Bless her life and enrich her family through her achievements. Lord, I also bring her brother to You. Being 12 and 15 is difficult enough on this age let alone being in a pandemic. Dear Lord, soften his heart towards You and let him find that place of peace that You can bring to him. Slow down his need to be forever on the go and minister Your tranquility into his life. Grant him Your assurance of love and acceptance. Help him to lean on You. We know that You provide all our needs according to Your riches in glory so for this family I pray that You will undertake for all their needs, physically, emotionally, spiritually and fill their hearts and minds with You. Thank You for the grandparent who is available for them. Grant them words of wisdom and love to minister into this situation. Amen.

My heart bleeds for you.
As a fellow grandmother, I see that perhaps the most important role we have is to pray for our grandchildren.
It is agonizing to see the situations children face, many of which were not part of the world for previous generations.
But nothing is a surprise or too hard for God!!
You may not be able to talk to your family about some of their problems, but there is NOTHING you cannot talk to God about and He is ‘able to accomplish abundantly far more than all that we can ask or imagine’ Ephesians 3:20.
My advice is to pray, pray, pray and praise and patiently wait to see what God will do.
He will not disappoint but will probably surprise you, but be patient. Miracles can take a little longer!
God bless you.
