I am fortunate to get my old job back after a 2 year break working for another company that unfortunately folded and left me unemployed. However, I am nearing retirement age without having made any retirement plans/provisions of my own. I would have to rely on a state pension. I am therefore embarking on a new sideline venture into investment property which will hopefully generate an additional retirement income for me and my wife. I therefore need to trust in our Lord that I’m doing what he intended for me to do.
How can I be reassured that I’m doing the right thing ? Kindly pray for answers/guidance on my behalf. I need someone to stand in the gap for me please! I’ve tried for years to hear God speak to me or give me directions. Maybe I’m not listening well enough or seeing the directions clearly enough. Thank you. Warm regards. God bless !

Dear Child of God, I stand with you in your prayer for guidance for your family. I pray that you will hear the Lord speaking to you in the still small voice that He has. I pray that you will not be sidetracked into a quick decision and that you will put your desires into His hands so that His will can be played out in your life. Lord, we know that You have a wonderful plan for us and that includes, on our part, seeking Your kingdom and laying our burdens on You. I pray that R will be still and know that You are God in this situation. You have his back. You are the God who provides and makes a way when no way is obvious to us. Your Word guides us and Your Holy Spirit empowers us. Let R fall in love with You to the point of 100%reliability on You. Lord, You know that we humans like to have some control so I pray that R will surrender full control to You. Thank You that You answer with power our hearts desire. Let R be strong and courageous in his confidence in You. Amen.
