Please pray for my faith. And that it would grow and be in everything that I do. I was reading in Matthew this morning, when Peter steps out to walk to Jesus on the water, and he does it, until he looks down and sees the waves and His faith is shaken. I feel like I do that all the time. A let all kinds of things get in the way of my faith and what I truly know and believe about God and his power and how he desires me to live my life. I truly desire him in all of my life, but I just can’t seem to let him. And, at the end of the day, in my heart, the reason I desire for him to be all through my life, it’s for everybody around me and for him. I know me in Him always is joy – but, my goal is not happiness, I want to advance His kingdom. That’s ultimately what I want. But it’s a catch 22. I can’t get out of my own way with the things that bring me down, so He can remove the things that bring me down, so I can do things for Him. The first being showing Him to my children.
