It’s been a long time, too long! Could you please join me in praying for my prayer life and reading the Word. Sleep seems to overtake me too much against my will. I want to be in the quiet place with Father and listen and pray in the Spirit. God how I need You, how Your people need You. Help us Father help us. I love Father but I feel I’m in a desert. Please pray with me pastor Berni.

Hi Daphne,
I am so encouraged to hear the longings of your heart.
What you long for is what God wants for us all. He wants us to hunger and thirst for Him and His righteousness, it is the prayer of the heart that He has promised to answer. Matt 6:33.
I pray that you will spend time with the Lord in prayer and in the Word every day and that He will lead you in prioritizing your time, to free more time to enjoy His presence.
One thing that can be helpful is a journal. Record what you learned each time you read the Word. Record what you have prayed.
As you return to this the next time, you will see how God is working in your life and in the lives of those for whom you have prayed, As you praise Him for answered prayer, your faith will be strengthened and you will want to spend more time in prayer and Bible Reading.
I know you long for fellowship with someone like-minded, but until you find that person, God will meet you and enrich you with His presence, as you ‘be still and know that He is Lord!!’ Ps 46:10 That is when we develop an intimacy with that Lord that blesses like nothing else.
