Death in my family
Added 3 years ago
My sister in law, Susan Wolf, age 61, passed quietly into the arms of her Saviour, after a 7 year battle with cancer. Pray for my brother (Mark Wolf ), my nieces ( Amanda and Stephanie), Sue’s sisters ( Karen and Rhonda) and her mother (Myrna) as they mourn the loss of a wonderful mother, sister , daughter and. wife. Pray that the testimony of her life in Jesus will produce fruit in the lives of others whom she has impacted in these last 7 years as she displayed Christ’s power over death , until finally Jesus called her home to an eternal rest and freedom from pain . Thank you for praying for these people and for myself and my wife (Diane) as we attend to them in the week ahead and at the funeral service we will attend. In Christ, Stuart Wolf.

Dear Child of God, I stand with you in your prayers for your bereaved family. I praise and thank God that Susan knew Him and I pray that her testimony will shine on in the hearts of the family. We know that the Lord Jesus was deeply moved many times by the depth of sorrow in the face of death and I pray that He will be especially close to you all in the coming days. I pray that you will draw strength from Him as you all pass through the valley of the shadow of death to the peace and love that knows no bounds. Lord, thank You for Susan. Bind her testimony to Your love around the hearts of her family and keep them safe until they too can know You in Your salvation and resurrection power. Thank You that You conquered death by Your wonderful resurrection. Be closer than a brother to this dear family as they grieve. Send the Holy Spirit to comfort them and strengthen them. Amen.

Stuart, I am so very sorry for yours and your family’s loss! I feel that no matter how long you have to prepare for saying goodbye that it still hurts so much.
It sounds like she was a faithful, beautiful person who inspired and touched the loves of those around her.
I pray that the Lord gives you comfort and peace in knowing she is now with Him and free from pain. I pray that you find joy in the love of you all coming together to celebrate her life and the beautiful memories of her that will live on in your hearts forever.
Revelation 21:4
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
