Back in 2021, I was let down from my good job; thereafter, I decided to start a small business to try and get by with purpose. It went well for the first year, but then it all started to crumble, and the business went under. I have been without work or an income for the last 2 years. I have not been able to provide anything for my son or my family.
The relationship with my son’s mother has been broken due to my failures. I, for many months, have been in a state of depression. I was totally lost. I made the choice last December to start going to church and I have gone ever since. I feel much more hopeful, and I’m sure that God has taken me out of the state of depression in Jesus’ name.
My prayer request to fellow believers is for a breakthrough for a steady income in whichever way God wills. I want to not lack as the Bible promises, and I am willing to wait for God’s plan and will. I am not perfect, and I will grow day by day for Jesus to make me whole. Please pray for me.

Dear Child of God, I stand with you in your prayers and I thank God for you. Lord, we read in Your Word that we are to bring all our cares to You because You care for us. Lord, I bring my brother R to You and lay before You all of the events in his life that are happening right now. I thank and praise You for lifting R out of the depression that he was in. I pray that he will be transformed by the renewing of his mind as he puts his faith and hope in You. I pray that he will put on the full armour of God so that when he has done everything he can stand being clothed in Your robe of righteousness and I pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit to fill him with Your power as he walks the path that You have set before him. Thank You that You have placed him in a church where he feels loved and has settled in. I pray that he may find comfort and strength there. I thank You that he is seeking first Your Kingdom above all else and living righteously. Thank You that You will give him all he needs. I pray that his relationship with his son’s mother will be changed by grace and that forgiveness will be offered and accepted that reconciliation may take place. Thank You that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Thank You that You have set us free and we walk in faith. I pray that all the gifts and skills that R accumulated through running his own business will bring opportunities to him in his search for the job that You have prepared for him. I pray that You will guide him to that job and grant him Your wisdom. May this man of God walk in Your strength, peace and favour singing praises to You. Fill his heart with joy and may he bring You honour and glory. Amen.

Lord God one of the names for you is God our provider. Lord I ask that you will provide stable employment for R so that he can provide for his family. Lord we know that it’s your will that we prosper. I ask for continued healing of his mental health and that you surround him with Godly brothers in his church to put their spiritual arms around him.
